Goals for 2015, Top Ten Tuesday

TTT

Top Ten Tuesday is a thing where we get given a topic, and we have to list our ‘top ten’ things for the topic. Pretty self-explanatory.
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

This Week’s Topic: Top Ten Goals/Resolutions For 2015 — bookish, blogging or otherwise

Blogging

1. Fix up the way I do blogging
While I’m ok with the way I’m currently doing things, there are several things I want to change.

2. Write more reviews
I wrote barely any reviews last year. So, my aim is to make reviews a regular thing, instead of an occasional thing.

3. Write more discussion posts
Now, I wrote, like, none of these in the past year, but I have ideas for some. Now I just have to write them.

Books

4. Limit the books I buy this year
Last year, the book buying got a little out of hand. So, I’m going to (attempt to) severely limit the books I buy this year.

5. Keep up with Netgalley books
I went nuts with requesting…and then got a ton of approvals that I wasn’t expecting.
Needless to say, I fell behind.

6. Keep reading regularly despite uni
While I obviously find uni important, last semester I went an entire month without reading anything, and I could tell. When the semester finished, it wasn’t until I started reading again that I began to feel better.

Writing

7. Continue working on NaNoWriMo novel
As anyone who follows me on twitter may be aware, I got to 15,000 words during NaNoWriMo. Basically, my plan is to finish writing it so that I can write the sequel for NaNoWriMo2015.

Life

8. Travel to Melbourne in February for the Bloodlines thing
The only thing possibly stopping me from doing this is money. Basically, this means no books so that I can save up for this trip. I. Am. Going.

9. Run a youth group
So, I’m already sort-of doing this, but the thing is that just in time for term 4 I lost both my other leaders. So last term was a struggle just to keep the group running. So this year, I need to keep the group running properly.

10. Read the Bible more regularly
This is something I’ve been wanting to get into the habit of doing for years. Time to start.
