So, I missed last Wednesday’s check-in…and last Sunday’s…

Lets get down to business

I don’t actually know how many words I’ve written, given the fact that I’m not a typer. I prefer to write with a pen on paper in a notebook. I do know, however, that I managed to write an outline that was a couple of pages long.

And I call that a success.

A Round of Words in 80 Days

So, I’ve recently discovered this thing called A Round of Words in 80 Days. This is sort of like NaNoWriMo (if you don’t know what that is, please ignore the comparison), except you set your own goals, and it lasts for 80 days, instead of a single month (funnily enough, NaNoWriMo is held in November, which is exam month in Australia…makes it real difficult). Anyways, since it’s July (aka No Uni), and seeing as I’m pretty useless at maintaining any sort of writing schedule, I thought I’d give this a go. I’m going to keep my goals pretty simple, because I know me, and I know what sort of goals I’m likely to fail miserably, and which goals I’m likely to fail less miserably. In fact, I’m going to go even easier on myself and make 1 goal.

Goal: Write at least 1000 words per week.

There. Nice and simple.

Let’s see how this goes.
