Top Ten Tuesday is a thing where we get given a topic, and we have to list our ‘top ten’ things for the topic. Pretty self-explanatory.
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish
This Week’s Topic: Top Ten Authors I’ve read the most books from
1. Richelle Mead: 12 books + 1 extra + 3 graphic novels
2. Rick Riordan: 12 books + novellas
3. Julie Kagawa: 11 books + 3 novellas + bonus scenes
4. Cassandra Clare: 9 books + extras
5. Maggie Stiefvater: 9 books
6. J.K. Rowling: 7 books + 3 ‘textbooks’
7. Kiersten White: 7 books
8. Rachel Hawkins: 6 books
9. Brigid Kemmerer: 5 books + 3 novellas
10. Lauren Oliver: 5 books
I’m not doing TTT this week but I’m so curious as to who’s the author I’ve read most books of. I THINK it would probably be Meg Cabot, since I’ve read like 15 of her books…
It’s funny, because there were so many authors I wanted to put on this list, because I’ve read ALL their books…but they only have, like, 3 or 4, so I couldn’t include them.
And then there were so many authors with seemingly heaps of books, but they’re all the one series, so I felt like it wasn’t that many, but at the same time it was…
Basically, this topic caused me quite a few existential crises.
It’s SO interesting to see what author’s books people have read the most of! JK Rowling would definitely be on my list haha. Also probably Sara Shepard — because there are sooo many Pretty Little Liars books xD (seriously. Like 14 or something. I haven’t even finished the series yet.)
I didn’t get the chance to look at other lists 😦 But it would be interesting.
And yeah, so many authors I’ve only read a lot of books for because they have long series…
