Definitely agree on Hermione and Celaena!
They are awesome, aren’t they?
HERMIONE HERMIONE HERMIONE ❤ Also I really need to read the Raven Cycle…
YES YOU NEED TO READ THE RAVEN CYCLE!!!!!! *flails*
OH MY GOSH YES READ THE RAVEN CYCLE!!
HA YOU DIDN’T KEEP WITH 10. IT WAS SO HARD TO KEEP WITH 10. XD I love Blue and Maggie (omg I keep putting off Corruption because I ship Maggie and Quentin WAY too hard and I’m scared they’ll not end up together) and Evie also rocks. *nods*
SHH!! I don’t think anyone else noticed *glances around*
Wait, WHAT!? You haven’t read Corruption yet??? Go! NOW! READ!
BLUE AND MAGGIE AND EVIE AND okay I basically agree with everyone. Although Meghan took a while to grow on me…I only liked her in the later Iron Fey books. Hermione was always the first best though. 🙂 And Luna.
Yeah, from memory I wasn’t massively fond of Meghan in book 1…it’s been a while.
And I was tempted to add Luna, but I was already struggling to keep the list from becoming endless, so I figured I should stick with main characters…even now, I’m looking back at the list and thinking of all the ones who missed out.
haaaaa!!! Yeah I was not a fan of Meghan until about the end of book 3 and then 4. Luna is honorary!
Rose is on my list too. She isn’t on many lists that I have seen so far. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Isn’t she? She should be!
Thanks for visiting 🙂
Hermoine on top I see…wise choice..really wise 🙂 😛
Yeah, the Harry Potter character always gets the top spot in these lists. Because Harry Potter.
Fantastic list! I’m really tempted to go back and edit mine to 15 haha.
Cora @ Tea Party Princess
I struggled to keep it at 15, let me tell you.
Wow. I haven’t read any of those books. Me oh my. I guess that’s what happens when people have different tastes in reading. 🙂 Check out my top ten here: http://www.aidylewoh.blogspot.com/2015/02/top-ten-tuesday-favorite-heroines-from_24.html
Whoa, none of them? Seriously?
Not even Harry Potter?
I’ve only read a couple of these books, but Vampire Academy, Disruption and The Interrogation of Ashala Wolf are all on my tbr list. I’m really glad to know they’ve got such likable heroines.
My TTT
Oh they do! They’re all amazing books.
Great list.. I hadn’t thought of Ashala but she is good. Totally agree with Hermoine. It is a bit so many of the great women heroines are in fantasy and not fiction!
sorry… that was meant to say pity not bit!
Oh, right. I got confused for a minute there.
There might be heaps of great heroines in fiction…but I’m more of a fantasy/sci-fi/dystopian reader, so I don’t really know of any.
That, and the fact that the word ‘Heroine’ just brings fantasy to mind. I’ve never really thought of any people in regular fiction as being a ‘hero’ or ‘heroine’.
But that might just be me.
