Books Bought:
So…book buying ban…
Hahahahahahahahahahaha
I didn’t technically ‘buy’ all these books…so I’ve split this into two lists-
Books from the Hoarder’s house:
So, my dad knows a guy who bought a house that used to belong to a hoarder…and all his stuff is still there, so the people who bought the house are selling all the stuff, and this guy had so many books. So, from there I got:
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, by J.K. Rowling
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, by J.K. Rowling
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, by J.K. Rowling
Now, you’re probably thinking ‘surely she has these books already’, and I do, but a) technically they’re the ‘family’ copies and b) these books that I bought are HARDCOVER!!! (That excites me ok)
And then it was National Bookshop day, so naturally I had to go to the bookstore:
Throne of Glass, by Sarah J. Maas
The Assassin’s Blade, by Sarah J. Maas
Books Borrowed:
No borrowed books this week…I still have the overdue book fine thing going on.
If anyone knows where I put that library book, suggestions of places to search are very welcome.
Shelfies:
I promised these last week, but I didn’t have time to upload them during the week…they made it to instagram, just not the blog.
So, I present, my bookshelves, as of last week:
Buying a house belonging to a book hoarder is every reader’s dream.. haha!
Yeah, this guy also had a heap of classic books in those fancy hardcover things (which usually cost about $50 at Dymocks), so we got those too…SO PRETTY!
Lovely bookshelf!!!
I love Throne of Glass! Your bookshelves look great!
My StS
I am thinking of starting Throne of Glass tonight!

Yes! Do it!
Interesting that someone bought a house from a hoarder and they just left all their stuff in it. They must’ve just wanted to dump everything and go. Sad kind of but at least you got some great books!
Actually, I think the guy who owned the house died, and his children were the ones not collecting the stuff (even though they had said that they wanted to keep some of it).
Wow your bookshelves are super pretty! Haha yes one cannot only own one copy of Harry Potter! For some reason those hard covers look a lot thinner than the ones that I picked up from the start. Good choice on Throne of Glass & The Assassin’s Blade as well, some of my favourite books!
Not too bad! Hardcovers of Harry Potter are cool!
