So, I’ve decided that once a month, I’m going choose a (somewhat) random book from my goodreads shelf, and I’m going to recommend it to you people because it was awesome.
This month, the book is:
Ultraviolet, by R.J. Anderson.
Why I read this book:
Honestly, it was all because of the blurb:
Once upon a time there was a girl who was special.
This is not her story.
Unless you count the part where I killed her.
I mean, come on! How was I supposed to NOT read it?
Why you should read it:
Can you resist that blurb? Seriously?
If, somehow, those three sentences are not enough to convince you, here are some more reasons:
1. Girl is in mental hospital, accused of killing her classmate
2. This same girl can see into the Ultraviolet spectrum, which is awesome.
3. Seriously, just read it.
And if that doesn’t convince you…then I don’t know what else I can do.
